The Most Wonderful Man!!!

This was one of the most important man in my life. Today September 27th would have been his 82nd birthday! SO I know your in heaven and smiling down on all of us today saying dry those tears up!! We love you and miss you dearly!! I can not believe you are gone.

For those of you who do not know who this is my grandfather "Pa" he was one of the best men I have known. He was one of my biggest supporters in all that I did. He always called me his "Blonde Bomber" I would give anything to hear him say that name now!! He fought a long hard battle of cancer that took his life March 13th, 2009. He is truly missed!!!!!

I know more than anything he is tickled pink in heaven because, Nicholas is about to sign a minor league contract with the Evansville, Indiana Otters. We are all so proud of him but no one could be more proud than my Pa. The whole time he was battling cancer he did not miss a single college game of Nicholas' if anything we all learned the true definition of commitment and dedication.
He was a wonderful man and I miss him more and more everyday!! I know he is in heaven and very proud of each of his 8 grandchildren and 8 great children!! I know we have made him proud!!
We Lambert's are a true Legacy of this Great Man. I am proud to say that I am a LAMBERT!!!!

Gulf Shores

I just went to the beach for a week with Brandon's Mom and his sister Megan we had a wonderful time. We went to Gulf Shores. Here are some pictures from our trip!! These Are just a few!! Hope everyone has had a great Summer!!

Whooo Hoooo!!!!

I am out for a Week and I am some kind of pumped. I am going to sleep in!! Wait on Brandon to get home Friday night at Midnight because he works til 10. I have no clue what we are doing for July 4th. I just really wanna be with him and I will be all right!! Hopefully pop some fireworks and just enjoy each other before he gets his tonsils cut out on Tuesday.

Hoping that goes good for him. I do not want him to be in alot of pain.

Updates!!!

I am doing really well in school. I have God to thank for that!! He has blessed me with the opportunity to better myself and make something of myself, to provide for my self and one day my family. OTA- Occupational Therapy Assistants can really make good money and I am thankful for that. As of right now I want to work with Geriatrics and that is where the pay is the best.

I have a wonderful boyfriend and I know I talk about him alot but I mean he is great. He has been there for me through difficult times and is always supportive of my school- well me with school to be exact. HAHA!!

I have wonderful friends they are there when I need advice- Syd or when I need to gripe about life, school or just having a bad day. I have made some really good friends within my program as well. We are a really good group. We are very eager to learn and discuss what we have learned. I have good friends who on the weekends are right there offering for me to come do things with them to help de-stress- Justin and Leslie- going to the lake for the day or going camping. I mean who does not want to do that :) Sydney- Restaurants and random conversations. More than anything you all make me laugh and that is therapy within its self.

August 9th- 14th I'll be at the beach and I can not wait.

Well Hope this is a good update on the things happening in my life.

I am dating the most impressive man!!!!

I want to take a minute and brag on my boyfriend. Not only do I think he is the most wonderful thing ever. He is good to me and is always there for me when I need him. He loves me for who I am and how I am. I Thank God everyday for him.


Now Brandon is going to be a State Trooper for state of Arkansas. We are not exactly sure when Troop school is supposed to start the latest we have heard is September. I am so Proud of him in many ways.


His background investigation is just about done. Srgt. Flowers said that Brandon is the most impressive man he has met, and might I add he has worked for the State police for at least 20 years i think that is correct years. I knew Brandon was a wonderful Man I am just glad that other people get to see why it is I love him!!!!


So, say a prayer because the down fall of Troop school Monday-Thursday I will not get to talk or email him, he is allowed to come home on the weekends if they do a good job during the week. That is going to be very hard on me, because I do not even sleep good if I do not talk to Brandon before I go to sleep. SO 22 weeks is gonna be a long time, but praying it goes by FAST!!!!!

I am so Excited!!!!

I am so excited!! I get a phone call tonight and it was Brandon's mom Gail. She starts off by saying don't get your hopes up just in case something falls through. Then she proceeds and says Megan and I are trying really hard to go to the beach and it is during your 2 week break and we both really want you to go with us.

I said ok but you are not paying for it, and............. she says "Yes I am and you are going because we really want you to go with us" so I just quit arguing with her. So If everything works out I actually get to go to the beach and I am super pumped because I know we will have so much fun!!! It will be nice to get away. I have a 2 week break from school and what better way than to spend it at the beach.

School

Well........... Here is an update on School for any one who cares. It is week 4 of 11. It is getting very stressful but just fast and lots of work. I have passed all test and practicums that we have had so far. So that is WONDERFUL!!!!! I can do it!!

I have a wonderful support system. My Mom tells me to just do it. My sis always ask how is school going. Brandon is always there to pick me up. He listens and says you can do it.

I pray often asking God to give me the knowledge to pass these test and practicums. I owe it all to God because with out him I would not be where I am today.

I love my classmates. We all get along great. It is all girls so that is good. Sorry I know this is boring but, many are wondering how school is going for me. so here ya go!!!!

Prayer

I just want to ask for those of you that read this. That you will pray for me. Starting Tuesday I will begin the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. It is a very difficult program and it will take alot out of me. I have a great support system. I have a wonderful boyfriend that has been there every step of the way. My family that reminds you can do it, and friends they say that stuff is stupid they make you do. HAHAH (THANKS SYD)

SO just pray that things go good and my life does not change too much!!

Friday May 8th

Well my wonderful boyfriend has something planned for us to do and I have clues and still can not figure out what we are doing. How pitiful is that??

So here are my clues:
1. It is outside
2. Most of it is in Little Rock and other is sort of in North Little Rock
3. You can see it over and over and over again......
4. It is fun
5. Need lawn chairs
6. If it rains it maybe canceled
7. It is not always around to go do/see

I am really excited to see him anyway but now I am really excited to see what my suprise is?

Day 3

Today is day 3 of dieting for me. I am actually doing well. I have not lost any weight yet :( but have not gained either :) but I feel good and I am exercising. I am cutting back on Carbs and my DR. PEPPER's which anyone that knows me that is MAJOR!!! I just hope I can keep up the good work because I have to fit in a bridesmaid dress in July and a swim suit very soon!!!

Just a little bit of humor!!!

I signed up for an exercise class and was told to wear loose-fitting clothing. If I HAD any loose-fitting clothing, I wouldn't have signed up in the first place!

When I was young we used to go 'skinny dipping,' now I just 'chunky dunk.'

Wouldn't you know it....
Brain cells come and brain cells go, but FAT cells live forever.
